MEET MARK

Mark Volain joined Last Word Strategies in the summer of 2022. He was born and raised in Springfield, MA and earned a bachelor's degree in English from Clark University and master's in journalism at Syracuse University's Newhouse School. He spent six years working as a sports reporter and then as Sports Editor, the latter of which brought him to the San Francisco Bay Area. A self-described Lefty with a passion for words, Mark is a big music and baseball fan.

Mark lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Nicole, and their tri-color corgi, Bess.
